This Week on WLVU: Guests from Scenes Near and Far

As we head into February, there’s much to take note of on WLVU’s airwaves. We’re highlighting plenty of local performers, while also using our programming as an audible “window to the world” outside of the Lehigh Valley.

You’ll hear a healthy mix of both on some of our flagship programs. Take a look inside what’s happening…

This Week on WLVU

Monday, January 29
The Quinn Spinn
comes to us live from Studio 73 at 7 p.m. ET with special guest, Billy Bauer. Billy joins us to talk about Billy Bauer Band’s new single, “So I Love,” as well as his beloved Philadelphia Eagles as they get set to take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. Also, tune in to hear artists performing as part of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, taking place in South Bethlehem this Friday, February 2.

Wednesday, January 31
End your month with a double dose of new episodes! The Balcony Show (8 p.m. ET) brings you music and an interview with Canadian singer-songwriter Madison Mueller, Lauren Christine with Emily Noel in this week’s Spotlight, and Neil Grover‘s newest single, “Politics”. Then, Moments with Emily Noel at 9 p.m. ET keeps the Lehigh Valley Music Awards buzz going with a listen to some of this year’s Industry Vote nominees.

Thursday, February 1
At 8 p.m. ET, Tape Swap Radio features the Shards Session from Wax Darts, a self-described post-proto punk band from Jersey City, NJ recorded during their tour stop in Bethlehem in August 2015.
