PHOTOS: Musikfest 2018, Day 10 (The Grand Finale)
On Sunday night, crowds flocked to both sides of the Lehigh River in Bethlehem to say goodbye to the 35th annual Musikfest in style.
Closing night featured a traditional fireworks display and some of the largest crowds of the entire festival — despite the looming threat of rain that never came — to go alongside the final day’s lineup of musicians.
We found ourselves spending time on both sides of the river throughout the night, starting on the north side with the likes of folk singer-songwriter Grace Morrison, Lehigh Valley pop punks Above the Mendoza, and Cleveland-based pop quartet Recess. Then, we bounced to the south side for sets from Lancaster native Matt Wheeler and Valley-based rockers Eighteenth Hour, before returning north to Festplatz to celebrate with Philadelphia Funk Authority to close things out.
Thanks for following us on the journey! We’re going to rest our legs. While we do, enjoy shots from the last night of Musikfest 2018.
