PHOTOS: Luca Di Fabio at The 5 Spot

Friday night in Nashville was a time for rock and roll. For Luca Di Fabio, that means bringing a dynamic live show to The 5 Spot in East Nashville, complete with all of the liveliness and flamboyance he and his band could muster.

The band delivered in grand fashion in celebration of its new single “I Can’t Cry Anymore,” which they performed alongside a number of other forthcoming releases across a strong 45-minute set. Di Fabio led the way with his unique and commanding presence — a byproduct of the frontman’s fashion expertise — to go alongside his flashy guitar work and vocal versatility. This, of course, is complimented nicely by the potent energy and strong musicianship generated between he and bandmates Spencer Woodley (guitar), Alex Borquez (bass), Adam Lawrence (drums), Mary Hull (keys), and backing vocalists Care Kelley and Chelsea Dollar.
