Bradford Loomis: Live at City View Sound
Born in the Northwest, Bradford Loomis has lived to tell a different and exciting tale from many of us. Through years of choir, band, and orchestra, Bradford discovered a powerful kinship to the songs and stories of bygone eras, as they helped show him how to tell stories in a meaningful, impactful way.
Bradford marries grit and melody to dig to the roots of American folklore, and to speak of the raw reality of the human condition with passion. His stories span several lifetimes of relatable emotions; bitterness and loss, deep longing and regret, enduring hope and love, elation and joy.
In this episode of Live at City View Sound, Bradford Loomis performs his song, “Dead Man’s Dance,” and talks about what motivated him to start playing music again after a long hiatus.
Live at City View Sound connects the face to the voice, the emotion to the artist, and the recordings to a raw performance. This series features artists of all genres, with each episode consisting of a 3-4 minute interview and an acoustic performance. Every artist has a craft and his or her own unique sound. Live at City View Sound strives to showcase these artists in their own element.
