Let’s begin your October with something cool and eclectic.

We received a UMC20 submission just last night from Canadian duo Mountain Head. Consisting of the mysterious Hannah Brothers (Kyle and Ben), the pair rocks long beards, gold teeth, and all-black-everything, for a style that is ZZ Top-meets Flavor Flav-meets Johnny Cash.

With that said, their sound is different from what you might expect. Their funk-laden grooves are layered over top with bright and shiny electropop synths, offering a sound that is complex in its construction, yet smooth in its delivery.
