The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Friday, March 27

Just because we’re all stuck inside, that doesn’t mean we’re going to leave you without a song to start your weekend properly.

Matthew Noth of Moodsmith reached out with “San Francisco,” a new single released under his side project, Junkmale, a collaborative effort with co-producer Gregory Graves (a.k.a. Grawg). The cool, synth-driven glow of “San Francisco” captures the very essence of future pop, with a Foster the People-meets-Daft Punk funk groove.

“San Francisco is an electropop song for the digital age, where remnants of old relationships live on your phone,” Noth said. “A tune for the quarantined heart.”

Certainly, many of us are feeling that right now. So, encapsulate that feeling with today’s Daily Spinn.
