LISTEN: Lombardy is Caught in a ‘Hurricane’

It wouldn’t be a proper show week if we didn’t give you a little taste of what’s in store, now would it?

In case you didn’t hear, Lombardy is playing a Live from the 615 Virtual Showcase alongside Monte Mader and The Night Shifts this Friday. You can get tickets here. But, in case you want to try before you buy, we have the self-proclaimed Nashville rock and roll boy band’s latest single below for you.

That single is “Hurricane,” a dynamic modern rock banger that packs a punch. Lead vocalist Mike Scott tells the story of a woman who has entered his life like a true force of nature, leaving him with no other choice but to brace himself for the turbulent conditions ahead. There is a hint of tenderness in his vocal, counterbalanced with crunchy, blues-infused guitars that, like a Category 5, have no intention of taking prisoners. Filling out the soundscape are crisp vocal harmonies provided by rhythm guitarist Jonathan Plevyak, and powerful plucking from bassist Nick Stafford that adds depth to the tune’s low end.

Here comes the storm! Stream “Hurricane” below, and be sure to join Lombardy (and us) this Friday!
