PHOTOS: Krantz, YEARLOVE, and Forts Like Vana at The High Watt

The rock community showed up and showed out for our Friday night at The High Watt.
A cold February day in Nashville yielded inspired performances from a trio of rising alternative acts. NashLive! welcomed Krantz to the High Watt stage alongside YEARLOVE and Forts Like Vana for a night that ran the gamut of alternative rock.
Forts Like Vana started the night with their groovy, hook-laden pop rock tunes. Having worked with them a few times, we already went into this show knowing that they’d set a brilliant, high-energy tone for the night. They did all that and more, and even got to celebrate the release of their new single, “OVER IT,” in the process.
YEARLOVE picked up where Forts Like Vana left off, bringing a diversified alt-rock sound to the stage, marked by complex rhythms and nostalgic guitar tones. The Nashville-based outfit presented this unique sonic blend while using authentic stories to emotionally connect with the audience.
Then, it came time for Krantz. Back in October, we first witnessed this band’s undeniable presence on a Thursday night at Cobra. Led by frontman Jeffrey Krantz, they once again showcased their intricate musicianship to deliver a fun and charismatic set that left those in attendance begging for an encore.
Surely, we’ll bring you that encore soon enough. In the meantime, check out our photos below, and head over here to see what else NashLive! has cookin’.
