PHOTOS: Alyssa Lazar, Borderline Natives, and Sam Varga at The East Room
A youthful buzz was in the air this past Friday night at The East Room!
Fans had a chance to revel in the sounds and stories of Alyssa Lazar, Borderline Natives, and Sam Varga. The show kicked off a busy weekend for NashLive!, and gave concertgoers a chance to blow off some steam, courtesy of high-energy, emotional alt-rock.
Alyssa Lazar kicked off the action in spectacular fashion, mixing style with substance through a 45-minute set packed with big hooks, powerhouse vocals, and even a surprise medley or two.
From there, pop punk and emo remained the flavor for the rest of the night. Borderline Natives kicked off their three-gig weekend, storming out of the gates with tight pop punk riffs and a warm, engaging presence that captured the imaginations of everyone in the room. Then, Sam Varga came on to close the night, bringing plenty of emotional firepower to the stage that was complimented well by the skillful musicianship on display.
The best part? The fun was just getting started, as this was the first of two NashLive! shows this past weekend. Those photos are coming, but for now, take a look at our Friday night adventures!
