Erin McLendon Phillips has been singing professionally since the young age of 15, and teaching voice since 2016. After earning her Bachelor of Music in Commercial Voice from Belmont University, Erin began pursuing her own career as a country artist. She began teaching as a way to get out of her (many) part-time jobs, and fell in love with imparting her knowledge of vocal and performance techniques to singers of all levels!

Erin’s teaching style can be described as unconventional: she focuses not not only on the physical aspect of singing, but also the mental. By diving into what’s happening anatomically and mentally when you sing, her students have gained a better awareness of their own voices — and have been able to improve much faster!
